The organisation

A new studio.
Experienced hands.

Artivex Studio is a United States based software company, built by practitioners who had already spent years doing this work inside other teams.

We are new as a business and deliberately not new at the craft. The studio exists because of a pattern we kept meeting from the inside: organisations were buying five disciplines from five suppliers, then paying a sixth time in their own hours to make the results agree with one another.

So we assembled it the other way round. Design, animation, web, mobile and automation sit under one roof and one standard of work. That is harder for us to run, and considerably better to buy.

Being early is not something we intend to talk around. We have no decade of case studies to point at. What we will stand behind is the calibre of the people doing the work, and the fact that you deal with them directly from the first conversation to the last file.

Umair Anwer Baloch

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Our ambition is not to be the largest studio in the room. It is to be the one a client names when somebody asks who actually delivered.

I founded Artivex on a simple conviction: quality is a decision an organisation makes long before a deadline arrives. It is settled in who you hire, what you refuse to ship, and whether the person who promised the work is the person who does it.

Every discipline here is held to that same line. A brand system, a render, a production build, an automation: each one leaves this studio finished, documented, and delivered in full to the client who paid for it.

We intend to grow carefully and stay reachable while we do. If that means turning down work we cannot do properly, we will turn it down.

Our story

How the studio came about.

Three decisions separate where we started from where we are. None of them were about scale.

  1. Before Artivex

We kept watching good work fall apart in the handover.

Between us we had spent years inside agencies and in-house teams. The pattern was consistent: the individual pieces were competent, and the seams between them were where budgets and timelines quietly went. Nobody owned the whole.

  2. The decision

So we built the studio around the seams, not the specialisms.

Artivex was founded to hold every discipline to one standard and one point of accountability. Design, animation, web, mobile and automation answer to the same review, which means the work agrees with itself before a client ever sees it.

  3. Where we are

Early, deliberate, and answerable to the people who hired us.

We are a young company staffed by experienced practitioners, and we are growing on the basis of finished work rather than headcount. The person who scopes your project is the person who delivers it, and that will hold for as long as we can make it hold.
